OAK Branch regularly participates in international events related to technological innovations in fields like Cyber warfare, Big Data, risk analysis and business intelligence.
The GGRC Master's degree at Pantheon-Sorbonne University trains students and professionals in risk and crisis management in companies and publics institutions. This degree has an original approach to global risk analysis and crisis management as students do a 3-days-a-week internship with theoretical classes on Thursdays and Fridays. This combination of lectures and practical experience gives students a strong professional background before graduating, making them highly desirable to employers.
The international reputation of the Sorbonne is another advantage, as well as its very central situation in the latin quarter, giving students the privilege of studying in flagship buildings such as « l'Institut de Géographie » where most of the lectures take place.
The Master's degree is actively promoted by the CapRM students' union though social media, monthly conferences and other events including the unmissable « Club des Directeurs de Sécurité des Entreprises » annual colloquium at OECD.
M. Fanch FRANCIS, CTO of OAK Branch, will participate in the event

With the development of new uses, cybersecurity is no longer optional. The growing interconnectedness of cyberspace, the physical world and living beings multiplies the risks — and not just when it comes to IT. Material and human damages are no longer theoretical risks: operational safety is at stake. At a time of digital transformation, security must be developed and incorporated into technologies « by design. »
However, new uses are turning security itself on its head: proliferation of sensors, artificial intelligence, quantum networks and computers, predictive analysis, the blockchain, homomorphic encryption and so on. Tomorrow’s security must be more intelligent to meet the challenges of an increasingly connected world. These uses and new technologies will be at the heart of the FIC 2016, which seeks to give the floor to end users.
- To open up the debate on cybersecurity by bringing together cybersecurity and risk management experts as well as specialists from other cross-functional disciplines.
- To promote innovation in service to digital trust
- To build a reasoned approach to cybersecurity by putting human being at the heart of these issues
- To foster a partnership approach by bridging the gap between the public and private sectors
- To tackle cybersecurity using a strategic approach consisting in emphasizing the geopolitical, sociological, legal, managerial and technological challenges related to trust in cyberspace
